Yesterday, you created your furniture layout.
Today, we’re looking at how you actually move through the Entry + Living Room.
This is the part that often gets missed.
A console can be the right size and still make the entry feel cramped.
A chair can technically fit and still block the path into the living room.
A coffee table can look great and still make everyone squeeze around it.
Good flow is what makes a room feel easy.
Not just pretty.
What We’re Looking At Today

Walk through your Entry + Living Room exactly the way you normally do.
Pay attention to:
- where you naturally enter
- where bags, shoes and keys land
- how you move from the Entry into the Living Room
- whether furniture blocks a pathway
- whether the room feels crowded in one area and empty in another
- whether seating feels connected or scattered
- whether doors and drawers open comfortably
The goal is not to fill every wall.
The goal is to make the room work.
