Starting today, Your Design Guide has a weekly thread in the Chat called Ask a Designer Wednesday, and it’s just for paid members. If you’ve ever wanted to ask an interior designer about your own room, this is the place to do it.
How Ask a Designer Wednesday works
Every Wednesday morning I’ll open a new thread. Members reply with a photo of a room they’re working on, or the design question they’re stuck on.
A layout that isn’t working.
A paint color you can’t commit to.
A sofa you’re not sure about.
A rug that might be too small. (It usually is.)
I’ll answer right there in the thread. And the other questions are worth reading too. Most weeks someone is stuck on the exact same thing you are.

Who can post in the thread? Paid members of Your Design Guide. Free readers can see the thread, but replies are a paid-member perk.
What should I bring? A photo of the room and one clear question: the layout, a paint color, the sofa, the rug size. The more specific the question, the more useful my answer.
When do you answer? Wednesdays, right in the thread, so everyone can read the answers.
Is there a free trial? Yes, the paid subscription comes with a 7-day free trial.
